Robert Plant (1948-) raised in Kidderminster, Plant was lead singer with Lead Zeppelin on of the most successful rock bands of all time in terns of record sales and as live performers. Led Zeppelin ceased performing in 1980 but Plant has continued to record and tour extensively. He has a home close to Kidderminster and a continuing association with Kidderminster College and its MAS Records music development programme.

Claire Cashmore MBE (1988- ) is an Paralympic swimming champion who grew up in Kidderminster. She has won bronze, silver and gold medals having taken part in four Paralympic Games. She now competes in Paratriathlon and was world champion in her classification in 2019.
Melanie Lawley, born in Kidderminster, is an international midfield footballer now playing for Liverpool. She was a member of the Manchester City side which won the FA Women’s Cup in season 2016-17. She has played for the English national side at u-17,u-19,u-20 and u-23 levels for the full team 11 times scoring once.
